Why I Model The Milwaukee Road

I was 14 years old when I started modeling the Milwaukee Road.My aunt's mother was on the Arrow and it was coming into Perry,Iowa at about 10:30PM and we went up to Perry to pick her up at the depot and since then I have loved the Milwaukee Road and have been modeling it since then.I currently model in HO Scale since they have no MP15 AC's available in N Scale and no current early version SD40-2's,Kato's are hard to find, and I am not very good at cutting down fuel tanks and taking engines apart and putting them back together,Also with arthritis in my hands I have been told it would be hard to do N scale due to the hard time handling the small parts. Also I would have to kit bash the MP15 AC's from the Atlas MP15DC. HO Scale would be easier for me to do,but I have to wait until I start getting my disability and I don't know when that will be.
I plan on modeling the Milwaukee Road Iowa Division and the Illlinois Division from Council Bluffs,Iowa to Bensenville,Illinois from 1980- Jan.1,1986 the time that the Soo Line took over.I am thinking about including the Rock Island and the Chicago and Northwestern as if they had joint trackage rights.I will model SD40-2's,MP15AC's on the Milwaukee Road and the Rock Island and SD40-2's and MP15DC's on the Chicago and Northwestern if I include those two railroads.
